3 things to know before you fill out our mighty reminder form:
1. Did you know? You can get your gas safety checks done up to two months before the expiry date of your current Gas Safety Cerificate (CP12)
As long as we do your gas safety checks within two months before the expiry date of your current Gas Safety Certificate (CP12), instead of issuing your new certificate for 12 months from the date of our visit, since 2018, we’re allowed to issue it for 12 months from the expiry date of your current one - so that you don’t “lose“ any days.
Example: If your current Gas Safety Certificate (CP12) expires on 17 May 2026 and we do your gas safety checks on 20 March 2026, we can issue your new certificate with the expiry date of 17 May 2027 as opposed to 20 March 2027.
2. Due to the above, we’ll remind you just over two months before the date
