Just an easy online booking, a team that shows up, does the job properly, and treats you - and your space - with care. That's what we set out to build with True Care Trades. And it's what we show up to deliver every single day.
Why We Started
We couldn't find what we wanted to hire.
We were tired of chasing tradespeople who don't call back, deciphering vague quotes (was that £400 or £4,000? apparently it depends who you ask), and waiting around for hours, never knowing who was going to show up and when within the "all day" window.
So we built the kind of team we'd want in our own homes - skilled, respectful, and genuinely easy to deal with.
We're based in South-West London, and while we bring decades of collective experience, we keep things simple:

What Sets Us Apart
We're specialists, not generalists
Gas and heating, boilers (domestic and commercial), unvented cylinders, heat networks / heat interface units / plantrooms - that's what we do, we do it well, we do it all day every day, full time. For anything outside our core trades, we only refer you to people we'd trust in our own homes.
We're built for how people actually book things now
See real availability and book online in seconds - no phoning round to ask if someone's free, no waiting for a callback (which never arrives). Once you're booked, we'll email you ahead of time with your engineer's name and photo, so you know exactly who to expect. And on the day, you'll get a text and email with a link to track them live — their photo, their Gas Safe number, and their van on a map with a real-time ETA, so you're never stuck guessing within an "all day" window. If we can't make it easy to book us, we don't deserve to be booked.
Everyone is vetted - no exceptions
Every person who comes to your door is DBS or enhanced-DBS checked. That standard doesn't change - whoever's on the job.
We take trauma-awareness seriously - because we understand what it means
One of our founders' partners is a practising therapist, and it's shaped how we train our team. We know that letting a stranger into your home - your most personal space - can bring up anxiety, especially if you've had a difficult experience in the past. So every team member is trained in the basics of trauma-aware practice: how to communicate clearly, respect boundaries, and never make you feel rushed, judged, or unsafe in your own space.
We're clear
You'll get straightforward quotes, practical advice, and no surprises. If we wouldn't recommend it to our own families, we won't recommend it to you.
We're reliable
We turn up when we say we will. We tidy up properly. And if something needs checking afterwards, we don't disappear - we follow through.
